Mouthwatering Fish Tacos

OH SNAP! Did you just say FISH TACOS! AWWWW YEA!..

This is going to be a short post because it is meant to be an extension of my pineapple salsa recipe which can be seen here.

You’ll need filets of white flakey fish (we tend to use tilapia), olive oil (or any kind you prefer), and blackened seasoning. We bought the seasoning at Kroger, but you can make your own with this recipe.

Heat your grill, or griddle, to medium-high heat. Drizzle olive oil over the filets.

Lightly season each side of the filets with blackened seasoning.

Grill the fish for about 4 minutes on one side and then flip them over. Grill for an additional minute or so. You’ll know the fish is cooked when it begins to flake.

Place the fish in a warm flour tortilla and top with pineapple salsa. If you’re a cilantro lover like myself, feel free to sprinkle some fresh chopped cilantro… So good! These tacos have minimal ingredients, but each one really pops. If pineapple isn’t your thing try substituting mango or maybe top the tacos with some corn salsa, roasted tomato salsa, or even guacamole. Remember, fresh ingredients are key!
